An 800 mm Large-Format Build Volume
The D800 Ultra is CreatBot's large-format production platform — an 800 mm build envelope that lets you print full-scale tooling, fixtures, patterns, and end-use parts in a single piece, in-house, with no bonding or assembly.
See the CreatBot D800 Ultra in Action
Watch the D800 Ultra run production-grade large-format printing — IDEX dual extrusion, a Maglev-driven gantry at up to 1100 mm/s, and an 80°C active heated chamber built for 24/7 output.
800 × 650 × 650 mm. Over 330 Liters.
A full 800 mm of width — about 0.34 m³ of single-nozzle build space (740 × 650 × 650 mm in dual-nozzle IDEX mode), with a dedicated 400 × 650 × 650 mm mirror and duplication mode for running two parts at once. Oversized parts that used to be split, printed in sections, and glued now come off the plate as one continuous structure.
Full-Size Parts. No Assembly. In-House.
Automotive body bucks, aerospace tooling, foundry patterns, large jigs and fixtures, and architectural models all fit inside a single build. Bringing large-format capability onto your own floor removes the lead time, freight, and tolerance stack-up of outsourced large-format printing.
Independent Dual Extruders (IDEX) — 420°C
An independent dual-extruder (IDEX) system that reaches 420°C, prints dual-material and dual-color parts, unlocks mirror and duplication modes, and pushes up to 90 mm³/s of engineering filament at high speed.
Twin Independent Direct Extruders
Two all-metal direct-drive hot ends, each reaching 420°C in about two minutes, handle high-temperature engineering polymers and abrasive carbon-fiber composites. Run a tough structural material on one nozzle and dissolvable support on the other for complex internal geometry.
Engineered for Composites
Hardened, wear-resistant nozzles run PA-CF, PET-CF, PPS-CF, and UltraPA-CF without erosion. Combined with the 80°C chamber, the D800 Ultra turns out structural composite parts with the strength and heat resistance traditional FDM can't reach.
Up to 1100 mm/s — Maglev Linear Motors
A Maglev linear-motor system drives the XY gantry with no mechanical contact, holding accuracy at up to 1100 mm/s with 10,000 mm/s² acceleration. Less vibration means less ringing on big parts and meaningfully shorter cycle times across a multi-day job.
Full-Auto Calibration. Zero Guesswork.
HD-camera dual-nozzle offset, eddy-current bed mapping, and an independent Z-axis drive aligns the entire large-format platform automatically — so a 36-hour part starts on a perfectly trued bed without an operator chasing it.
Eddy-Current Bed Leveling — 0.001 mm
High-frequency electromagnetic sensing probes the platform without ever touching it, mapping the full large-format bed to 0.001 mm precision in about 60 seconds. The result is a dependable, repeatable first layer across the entire plate — the foundation every large part needs.
Dimensional Accuracy to ±0.05 mm / 100 mm
Trued motion, non-contact eddy-current bed mapping, and a repeatable Z datum keep the whole large-format platform in tolerance — the D800 Ultra holds dimensional accuracy of ±0.05 mm per 100 mm, verified with digital calipers against the model so finished parts measure true from the first job to the thousandth.
80°C Active Heated Chamber
An actively heated, three-layer-insulated chamber holds the whole large-format build at temperature — the single most important feature for printing warp-free engineering parts at this scale. It keeps ABS, ASA, PC, and carbon-fiber composite parts in their ideal thermal window from the first layer to the last, lowering thermal stress and suppressing warping and delamination, while the insulation shields the surrounding shop and keeps energy draw in check on multi-day production runs.
Cooling, Drying & Filtration Built In
Constant part cooling, an integrated filament dry room, and a dual-stage air filter let the D800 Ultra hold quality on hygroscopic engineering materials while keeping the shop air clean.
Dual-Stage HEPA + Carbon Filtration
A two-stage filter captures fine particulate through HEPA media and adsorbs VOCs and odors through activated carbon, at up to 99.995% adsorption efficiency. The sealed, filtered chamber makes high-temperature engineering polymers practical to run in an occupied workspace.
Built to Move Large-Format — Precisely, Safely
A Maglev linear-motor drive, an enterprise safety door, and automatic recovery features keep a large-format machine accurate and protected through unattended, multi-day production.
Maglev Linear Motor System
A contactless Maglev linear-motor system moves the gantry across the full large-format envelope without deflection or lost precision, even at 1100 mm/s and 90 mm³/s flow. Precision-engineered steel construction and an aviation-aluminum platform minimize vibration through high-speed, long-duration sessions.
Scale From One Machine to a Managed Fleet
Cluster and fleet-management software, batch and continuous-production modes, and remote Wi-Fi / LAN / app monitoring with an onboard HD camera let you run long production jobs — and whole print farms — without standing at the machine.
Cluster & Fleet Management
Run a single D800 Ultra or an entire cluster from one dashboard — queue jobs, distribute them across machines, and monitor status, temperatures, and the live onboard HD camera feed over Wi-Fi, LAN, or the mobile app. The machine also runs fully offline, so air-gapped facilities keep complete control.
Batch & Continuous Production
Fill the large-format bed with a full batch of parts, or use the IDEX mirror and duplication modes to print two at once, and let the D800 Ultra run unattended around the clock. Power-loss recovery and filament-runout detection protect multi-day jobs, so production keeps moving shift after shift.
Engineering-Grade Output at Full Scale
The D800 Ultra prints the full range of production polymers — from everyday PLA and ABS to high-strength carbon-fiber composites with the strength and heat resistance demanding parts require.

The D800 Ultra pairs an 800 mm large-format envelope with 1100 mm/s Maglev motion, full automatic calibration, and an 80°C active heated chamber — the thermal control open-frame large-format machines lack. High-temperature peers like the FUNMAT PRO 610 HT reach hotter chambers and nozzles for materials such as PEEK — in a smaller build envelope and at a higher price. Need a smaller footprint? FAQ
CreatBot D800 Ultra — Common Questions
The questions manufacturers ask most before bringing a large-format printer onto their floor.
How big a part can the D800 Ultra actually print?
A single part up to 800 × 650 × 650 mm — over 330 liters — in single-nozzle mode, or 740 × 650 × 650 mm with both IDEX nozzles in support mode. In mirror or duplication mode the independent dual extruders (IDEX) print two parts at once within a 400 × 650 × 650 mm envelope. That's room for one-piece tooling, fixtures, patterns, and end-use parts with no bonding.
Why does the active heated chamber matter?
Large parts in ABS, ASA, PC, and carbon-fiber composites warp and delaminate when they cool unevenly. The 80°C active chamber, wrapped in three-layer insulation, holds the whole large-format build at temperature so big structural parts stay dimensionally accurate — something the open-frame cubic-meter machines can't do.
What materials can it run?
PLA, ABS, ASA, PP, and PETG for everyday work, plus engineering and composite grades: PC, Nylon, ABS-CF, PC-CF, PET-CF, PET-GF, PPS-CF, PA-CF, PA-GF, PA-ABS, PC-ABS, PP-GF, PP-CF, and UltraPA-CF, with flexible TPU and soluble support. Hardened nozzles and the 420°C hot ends handle abrasive carbon-fiber and glass-filled filaments without erosion.
How accurate is it at full scale?
Eddy-current bed mapping trues the platform to 0.001 mm in about 60 seconds, a remote HD camera aligns the dual-nozzle XY offset to 0.02 mm, and an independent Z-axis holds the large-format bed flat. Positioning precision is 0.001 mm in XY and 0.00052 mm in Z, holding roughly ±0.05 mm per 100 mm.
What are the facility and power requirements?
The machine measures 1480 × 1080 × 1280 mm and weighs about 370 kg, so it needs a stable floor and clearance to open the chamber. It runs on 220–240 V, 50/60 Hz and draws up to 7 kW. Rev1 reviews electrical, ventilation, and access requirements with you before delivery.
How is it different from the CreatBot D600 Pro 3 HS?
The D600 Pro 3 HS is the 600 mm CreatBot — heated chamber and dual extruders in a smaller envelope. Step up to the D800 Ultra when you need an 800 mm large-format build, IDEX mirror and duplication modes, Klipper high-speed motion, and a Maglev linear-motor drive; the D600 Pro2 HS is another mid-size option.
Can I monitor and run it remotely?
Yes. A 10-inch touchscreen controls it locally, and Wi-Fi, LAN, and the mobile app let you start jobs, adjust settings, and watch the onboard HD camera from anywhere. It also runs fully offline for air-gapped facilities.
What software does it use?
CreatWare ships with a tuned D800 Ultra profile, and the printer also works with Cura and Simplify3D. It reads STL, OBJ, AMF, and STP/STEP files, so your team can keep its existing slicing workflow.
Does Rev1 install and support it?
