Kings Large-Format SLA 3D Printers — up to 2.7 m
Large-format SLA is how you print parts too big for a standard machine in a single piece — full automotive interior panels, large aerospace structures, big casting patterns and architectural segments — without sectioning and bonding. The large Kings SLA Pro systems run from 1.2 metres up to a 2.7-metre build: the dual-laser 1200 Pro (high throughput on big flat parts), the 1450 and 1700 Pro, and the flagship 2700 Pro. All share a 355 nm solid-state laser, VarioBeam variable-spot optics, 15 m/s scanning and a full-marble frame for stability at scale. This page compares the four.
- Up to 2.7 m build
- Dual-laser option (1200)
- Full-marble frame

Choosing a Kings 3D large-format sla machine
The decisions that actually matter for this class of machine — size them to your parts, not to a spec sheet.
Build size
Match the machine to your largest single part: 1200 × 800 × 650 mm (1200 Pro), 1450 × 800 × 650 (1450 Pro), 1700 × 800 × 650 (1700 Pro), up to 2700 × 900 × 800 mm (2700 Pro). The whole point is printing big parts in one piece.
Single vs dual laser
The 1200 Pro is dual-laser — two lasers scan in parallel, roughly doubling throughput on large flat parts (full interior panels) while holding edge accuracy at the stitch zone. The others are single-laser.
Accuracy & optics
All use VarioBeam variable-spot optics (0.08–0.8 mm) and a 355 nm Nd:YVO₄ solid-state laser with closed-loop galvos at 15 m/s — fine detail and fast fill on the same machine, held across a large build.
Stability & materials
A full-marble frame keeps metre-plus builds dimensionally stable. Kings production and high-clarity resins (KS408A, KS608, KS158T) cover casting patterns, clear parts and tough functional prototypes.
Install & support
These are large capital systems — Rev1 quotes a DDP package including delivery, installation, commissioning and operator training, with US-based support and financing on approved credit.

| Model | Build volume (mm) | Lasers | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Kings SLA 1200 Pro | 1200 × 800 × 650 | Dual | Full interior panels — dual-laser throughput |
| Kings SLA 1450 Pro | 1450 × 800 × 650 | Single | Extra-long parts & assemblies |
| Kings SLA 1700 Pro | 1700 × 800 × 650 | Single | Very large one-piece parts |
| Kings SLA 2700 Pro | 2700 × 900 × 800 | Single | Largest-format production SLA |
All share a 355 nm Nd:YVO₄ laser with VarioBeam variable spot (0.08–0.8 mm), 15 m/s scan speed, 0.05–0.2 mm layers and a full-marble frame. Quote-only; Rev1 quotes a DDP package with installation, commissioning and training.

Frequently asked questions
What counts as large-format SLA?
Practically, a build envelope past ~1 metre, so you print a big part — a full automotive panel, a large pattern or structure — in one piece instead of sectioning and bonding. The Kings large-format line runs from 1.2 m (1200 Pro) to 2.7 m (2700 Pro).
Which large-format model do I need?
Size to your largest part: 1200 Pro (1.2 m, dual-laser for throughput), 1450 Pro (1.45 m long axis), 1700 Pro (1.7 m), or the 2700 Pro (2.7 m). Send us the part and we will recommend the right machine.
What does the dual laser on the 1200 Pro do?
Two lasers scan in parallel, roughly doubling throughput on large flat parts (such as full interior panels) while holding edge accuracy where the two scan fields meet — the pick when build-plate area and speed matter most.
What materials and finish do these produce?
Kings production and high-clarity resins (KS408A, KS608, KS158T) for casting patterns, clear parts and tough prototypes — with the smooth surface finish SLA is known for, held across a large build by the full-marble frame.
How are these priced, delivered and supported?
They are large capital systems sold by quote. Rev1 quotes a DDP package that includes delivery, installation, commissioning and operator training, with US-based support and financing on approved credit.
