How to choose a HeyGears resin
Match the resin to the part’s job — finish, strength, temperature and process — then to your printer’s wavelength.
Standard vs engineering
Standard and modeling resins (PAB10, PAS10, PAP10) are for prototypes, minis and general parts. For functional or end-use parts, step up to tough/tooling grades — ABS-like (PAU11), general-purpose tooling (PAU20), high-stiffness (PAH270) or wear-resistant (PAWR10).
Specialty properties
Need a specific property? PAT10 is transparent, PAF10 is flexible (PVC-like), PAE10 is elastic, PAH10 is high-temp molding, PAC10 is wax-castable and PAM10 is mixable-colour.
Water-washable
PAWW10 and PAWW20 clean up with water instead of IPA — simpler, safer post-processing for a shop or classroom.
Printer wavelength
Reflex 2 and UltraCraft Reflex run 385+ nm; the Reflex RS runs 405 nm. Most UltraPrint resins cover both, but we confirm the right resin and exposure profile for your exact machine.
