Bambu Lab H-Series — H2D, H2C & H2S Large-Format 3D Printers

The H-Series is Bambu Lab’s large-format, high-flow production platform — a 325 mm class enclosed CoreXY with 350 °C hotends and a 65 °C actively heated chamber for PPS, PA and carbon-reinforced engineering materials, plus multi-material to 24 filaments. The H2D is a dual-nozzle machine with an optional laser and digital cutter; the H2C adds Vortek — seven hotends for zero-purge multi-material; the H2S is the single-nozzle production model for maximum throughput. This page compares all three so you can match capability to the parts you make.

How to choose

Choosing a Bambu Lab h-series machine

The decisions that actually matter for this class of machine — size them to your parts, not to a spec sheet.

Why the H-Series

Bigger parts and real engineering materials. The 325 mm class envelope, 350 °C hotends and 65 °C heated chamber run PPS, PA and CF/GF grades at high flow — well beyond what the A- and P-Series are built for.

H2D — dual-nozzle + laser

Two hardened-steel hotends (true dual-material / fast two-color) plus an optional 10 W or 40 W laser and a digital cutter/plotter. The most versatile H-Series — printing, laser engraving/cutting and cutting in one enclosed machine.

H2C — Vortek zero-purge multi-material

Seven hotends (six induction + one standard) and up to 24 filaments in parallel with near-zero purge waste — the pick when color/material count and material efficiency matter most.

H2S — single-nozzle production

A single hardened all-metal nozzle tuned for throughput: 340 × 320 × 340 mm, up to 1,000 mm/s, built-in filament cutter, up to 24 filaments via dual AMS. The value entry into the H-Series, quoted to your configuration.

Frequently asked questions

H2D, H2C or H2S — which do I need?

Choose the H2D for dual-nozzle printing plus laser engraving/cutting; the H2C (Vortek) for the most colors/materials with near-zero purge waste; and the H2S for single-nozzle production speed at the lowest H-Series entry. All three share the 325 mm class envelope, 350 °C hotends and 65 °C heated chamber.

What large or high-temp materials can the H-Series run?

With 350 °C hotends and a 65 °C actively heated chamber, the H-Series runs PLA through PPS, PA, PC and carbon- and glass-fiber reinforced grades — the high-flow, high-temperature end of Bambu’s range.

How does the H2D laser and cutter work?

The H2D accepts an optional 10 W (cuts ~5 mm) or 40 W (cuts ~15 mm) 455 nm laser module plus a digital cutter/plotter for vinyl, paper and leather — so one enclosed machine prints, engraves, cuts and plots. We can quote the right laser and bundle.

How are up to 24 filaments possible?

By running AMS 2 Pro and AMS HT units in parallel. The AMS 2 Pro actively dries filament and the AMS HT dries to 85 °C with a bypass for fiber-reinforced material. We quote the AMS configuration with the machine.
