There are three main modes available for Handheld Rapid Scanning, each tailored for specific needs and scanning conditions:
1. Classic Mode
- Frame Rate: 15 frames per second

Scanning: Directly scans at the resolution you choose

Best For: Small objects where medium resolution is sufficient
2. Lightning Mode
- Frame Rate: 30 frames per second
- Scanning: Captures data at a fixed 1mm resolution
- Post-Processing: Converts to your selected resolution after the scan
- Best For: Scanning large objects at low resolution quickly
3. Lightning + Refine Mode
- Frame Rate: 30 frames per second
- Scanning: Captures at 1mm resolution with parallel frame data collection
- Post-Processing: Enhances to the selected resolution through retopology after scanning, using the captured frame data
- Best For: Large objects where resolution can be recalculated or improved after the scan
