Following the manual bed leveling of the machine (Recommended), automatic probe based bed leveling can be calibrated to automatically compensate the nozzle to the changing curvature of the build plate. This can be done by visiting the Bed Mesh section in the machine settings. Tap the "calibrate" function and the machine will automatically home and begin probing the surface. As with the manual leveling process, it's best practice to warm the bed up to temperature and allow it to heat soak for a half hour prior to calibrating the bed. Once the probing completes, the screen will prompt whether you would like to save the mesh. The machine will restart after saving the file.
By default, the Creatbot machines do not automatically load a saved bed mesh file. This means that after a machine restart, including the one forced when the bed mesh is saved, clears the bed mesh and will not reactivate it automatically. You may manually activate the mesh by visiting the bed mesh section and clicking on the bed mesh profile you wish to use. Once the colored map appears, it is active and ready to go.
You can have the machine load a profile upon startup by adding the following code to the bottom your machine's Printer.cfg file. This will load the "default" bed mesh that is generated when you tell the machine to calibrate. If you want it to use a different mesh, save a bed mesh as such and replace the "default" below with the matching name.

At this point, the machine should be loading this profile each time the machine starts up. But this bed mesh will not be updated. You may manually update this as desired from the bed mesh screen on the machine or using the Mainsail web interface. You may also add "
BED_MESH_CALIBRATE" into the start gcode within CreatWare.
With the most recent firmware update Creatbot added the ability to enable adaptive bed mesh before every print. This is a more specific bed mesh that focuses only on the area that your print is about to occupy. This can save time on smaller parts and provide a higher density of probe points for a more accurate mesh. This can be enabled on your machine's interface by visiting the "advanced" menu option and toggling on the adaptive mesh feature. This should automatically function before every print as long as your slicer is updated to version 7.2.2 or later.
