What Lixel CyberColor Does

3D Gaussian Splatting reconstruction. Photorealistic output. ~90% smaller files.

Lixel CyberColor (LCC) is a desktop 3D Gaussian Splatting software that turns raw scan data into photorealistic, interactive spatial models. Walk through a site with a Lixel scanner, upload the capture into LCC Studio, and the software handles Multi-SLAM alignment, 3DGS reconstruction, color grading, and proprietary compression automatically — producing a cinematic-quality interactive 3D model in minutes. Output files are about 90% smaller than open-source 3DGS implementations without sacrificing visual fidelity, so models share via web link and view on any device with no installer.

Quality & Fidelity

Photorealistic 3DGS output. ~90% smaller than open-source.

Proprietary compression — cinematic fidelity, web-deliverable size

XGRIDS' proprietary 3DGS compression yields models about 90% smaller than open-source implementations such as the original 3DGS reference, NeRF-Studio outputs, or community Splat exports — without giving up visual fidelity. Ten-gigabyte open-source captures become roughly 1 GB shareable models. The pipeline keeps photorealistic surface detail, sharp edges, and accurate color while making web delivery practical on any device.

Buyer FAQ

Lixel CyberColor questions buyers ask before quoting.

What is the difference between LCC Basic, Premium, and Perpetual licenses?
Basic is permanently free (account-based, 3 concurrent logins, core 3DGS reconstruction and web sharing). Premium is $2,500/year (3 concurrent logins, adds Map Fusion, Aerial-Ground Fusion, HD Enhancement, AI Dynamic Object Removal, and the Revit BIM plugin). Perpetual is $10,000 one-time (dongle-based, fully offline, free upgrades year 1, optional 10% annual maintenance fee after that). All three tiers include the free Unreal Engine SDK.
What scanners does Lixel CyberColor work with?
LCC is compatible with all Lixel hardware. PortalCam is purpose-built for 3DGS and produces the highest-quality output. The Lixel L2 Pro is a survey-grade SLAM scanner that outputs both LiDAR point clouds (processed in Lixel Studio) and 3DGS data (processed in LCC) from the same walk-through scan. The Lixel Kity K1 is the compact handheld option. Third-party 3DGS-compatible scan data is also supported as input. Rev1 can confirm compatibility with your specific capture hardware before quote.
What output formats does LCC export?
LCC outputs to .splat (native 3DGS), .ply (geometry), .glTF (web 3D), .usdz (Apple ecosystem), and shareable web-viewer embed links. Premium adds direct integration with Unreal Engine via the UE SDK (free across all tiers), Unity, and Autodesk Revit via the LCC for Revit BIM plugin. Models can be viewed on any device through the web viewer with no installer required.
What are the system requirements for LCC?
Minimum: Windows 10/11 64-bit, NVIDIA RTX 3060 GPU (8 GB VRAM), 32 GB DDR4 RAM, Intel i7 or Ryzen 7 equivalent, 50 GB free SSD space. Recommended for production workflows: NVIDIA RTX 4070 or better (12 GB+ VRAM), 64 GB DDR5 RAM, NVMe SSD. Larger Map Fusion and Aerial-Ground Fusion projects benefit from 64 GB RAM and a higher-VRAM GPU. macOS support is limited; Rev1 will confirm Mac suitability before quote if that is your workflow.
Can I view LCC outputs in Unity or Unreal Engine?
Yes. The Unreal Engine SDK is free and available to all license tiers including Basic, so you can import LCC 3DGS models directly into Unreal for game maps, virtual production environments, and interactive experiences. Unity is supported via .splat and .ply exports plus community runtime plugins. Apple Vision Pro and Meta Quest XR pipelines also accept LCC output via .usdz and .glTF.
Is there a free trial or demo of LCC Premium?
LCC Basic is permanently free, so you can evaluate the core 3DGS pipeline at zero cost. For Premium-tier features (Map Fusion, Aerial-Ground Fusion, HD Enhancement, AI Object Removal, Revit BIM plugin), Rev1 offers a free demo built on your own scan data — send us a sample capture or describe your workflow and we will process a representative LCC model so you can evaluate Premium output quality before committing.
How does LCC compare to Polycam Pro for 3DGS reconstruction?
Polycam Pro is a phone-first photogrammetry and 3DGS app at roughly $20/month — strong for casual capture and quick consumer-grade scenes. Lixel CyberColor is a desktop professional 3DGS pipeline at $2,500/year Premium. LCC pairs with survey-grade SLAM hardware (L2 Pro, PortalCam), offers about 90% smaller file sizes via proprietary compression, includes Map Fusion and Aerial-Ground Fusion for large multi-pass sites, and integrates directly with Revit BIM and Unreal. Choose Polycam Pro for phone-only consumer capture; choose LCC when output fidelity, file efficiency, and AEC/film/VFX pipeline integration matter.
How does LCC compare to NeRF Studio (open-source)?
NeRF Studio is a free open-source research framework — extremely flexible, but you provide your own pipeline integration, GPU tuning, file management, and viewer infrastructure. LCC is a commercial professional product: one-click capture-to-share workflow, about 90% smaller output files than open-source 3DGS, AI Object Removal, Revit BIM plugin, web-shareable viewer, and same-day Rev1 license activation plus engineering support. NeRF Studio fits research labs willing to maintain their own stack; LCC fits professional production teams who need predictable output, fast turnaround, and US-based support.
Is the LCC Premium subscription per-seat or per-organization?
LCC Premium is account-based with up to 3 concurrent active logins per license. The same login can be used from different machines as long as no more than 3 are active simultaneously. For larger teams, Rev1 sells multi-license bundles and can quote enterprise Linux deployment from $25,000/node (3-node minimum) or LCC Docker for PortalCam at $18,000. Contact Rev1 for multi-seat or enterprise quoting.
What support is included with the LCC Premium tier?
Premium includes ongoing software updates and feature releases for the duration of the subscription, plus Rev1's same-day license activation, free demo on your scan data, US-based phone and email support, workflow integration help (Unity, Unreal, Revit, web viewers), and license-tier matching to your actual workflow.
