Copper Body

Copper thermal performance for faster printing.

Micro Swiss CM2 MK8 nozzle copper chromium zirconium body
Copper Chromium Zirconium

Heats fast, melts evenly.

A CuCrZr body conducts heat far better than brass or steel.

Copper Chromium Zirconium conducts heat quickly and evenly, and this special alloy retains its strength at much higher temperatures than regular copper — so the melt zone keeps up at high print speeds and high flow rates without cold spots.

Micro Swiss CM2 MK8 nozzle hardened M2 steel tip with WS2 coating
M2 Hardened Tip · WS2

A hardened steel tip where it matters.

68 HRC M2 tip, nickel-plated and WS2 nano-coated.

The tip — where abrasives do their damage — is M2 hardened high-speed steel at 68 HRC, plated and finished with a non-stick WS2 nano coating (0.035 coefficient of friction). You get copper’s thermal performance with hardened-steel wear life, backed by a limited lifetime warranty.

Micro Swiss CM2 MK8 nozzle 1.0mm orifice for high-flow printing
.4 / .6 / .8 / 1.0 mm

Four orifice sizes — built for flow.

Same copper body and hardened tip in every size.

The copper body shines at high flow — open up to .6–1.0 mm for fast, strong functional parts, or stay at .4 mm for detailed everyday prints. Ideal for carbon-fiber, glass-fiber and metal-filled filaments at speed.

FAQ

Micro Swiss CM2 MK8 Nozzle — Questions

Why a copper body with a steel tip?

Copper conducts heat far better than brass or steel, so the melt zone keeps up at high speeds and high flow. The M2 hardened tip handles the abrasion where it happens — you get the best of both: thermal performance and wear life.

Does it fit my Ender / CR-10?

Yes — it’s a standard MK8 nozzle, which is what Creality Ender, CR-10, MakerBot and dozens of other printers use. If you’re unsure, call us with your printer model and we’ll confirm before you buy.

Which orifice size should I pick?

.4 mm is the all-round default. The copper body excels at high flow, so .6–1.0 mm are great for fast, strong functional prints.
