Why a diamond tip?
Polycrystalline diamond (PCD) is the hardest nozzle tip available and conducts heat extremely well — it effectively never wears out, even printing continuous carbon-fiber or glass-filled filaments all day, every day.
Is it worth the price for me?
If you print abrasive filaments in production volumes, yes — one DiamondBack outlasts a long run of brass or even hardened-steel nozzles and keeps dimensional accuracy the whole time. For occasional abrasive work, an A2 or CM2 nozzle may be enough.
