TwinClad XT beats nickel-PTFE for low friction and resists abrasion — so this plated brass Volcano nozzle handles carbon-fiber, metal-filled and wood-filled filaments far better than an uncoated nozzle, and lasts longer.

The longer Volcano melt zone feeds big orifices at speed.

Does it fit my Volcano hotend?
It fits the E3D Volcano and compatible high-flow hotends for 2.85 / 3 mm filament. If you run 1.75 mm filament, choose the 1.75 mm Volcano nozzle instead. Not sure? Call us and we’ll confirm.
Why a Volcano nozzle instead of a standard one?
The Volcano’s longer melt zone heats filament over a greater length, so it can push more plastic at higher speeds and larger layer heights — ideal for fast drafts and big functional parts.
Which orifice size should I pick?
For high-flow speed go .6–1.0 mm; for finer detail stay at .25–.4 mm. Every size shares the same plated brass body and TwinClad XT coating.
