Authentic Micro Swiss nozzles, made in the USA
Every nozzle is a genuine Micro Swiss part — A2 tool steel, heat-treated and TwinClad XT plated in Micro Swiss’s own US facility. Rev1 Technologies is your authorized Micro Swiss reseller and US support partner, Auburn Hills, Michigan.
Built to outlast brass on abrasive filaments.

Hardened steel that holds its orifice size.
Standard brass wears open fast with filled filaments — flow drifts and quality drops.
The A2 nozzle is machined from A2 tool steel and heat-treated to 57–62 Rockwell C — far harder than brass. The orifice keeps its diameter print after print, so dimensional accuracy and extrusion stay consistent across long, abrasive jobs.

Low-friction plating that resists buildup.
A wear-resistant TwinClad XT surface on top of the A2 body.
The TwinClad XT coating lowers friction inside the nozzle, helping reduce drag and material buildup for smoother, more consistent extrusion — and adding another layer of wear resistance on top of the hardened steel core.

Five orifice sizes — detail to high-flow.
Same A2 body and TwinClad XT coating in every size.
Choose a larger orifice (.6–1.0 mm) for faster, stronger functional prints in carbon-fiber and metal-filled materials, or .4–.5 mm when you need finer detail. Ideal for carbon-fiber, glass-fiber, stainless/metal-filled, wood-filled, and glow-in-the-dark filaments.
Check it fits your 3 mm hotend.

A direct, drop-in replacement — no adapters.
Standard RepRap M6×1.0 thread for 3 mm filament.
Fits E3D 3 mm hotends and the machines that use them — Olsson Block, Ultimaker 2+, LulzBot SL toolhead, and TAZ Workhorse. This is the 3 mm version; if your printer runs 1.75 mm filament, choose the RepRap M6 1.75 mm nozzle instead. Not sure? Call us with your printer model and we’ll confirm before you buy.

FAQ
Micro Swiss A2 RepRap 3mm Nozzle — Questions
Will this fit my printer?
It is a RepRap-standard M6×1.0 nozzle for 3 mm filament — it fits E3D 3 mm hotends and machines that use them (Olsson Block, Ultimaker 2+, LulzBot SL toolhead, TAZ Workhorse). Not sure? Call us with your printer model and we’ll confirm before you buy.
Is this for 1.75mm or 3mm filament?
This nozzle is for 3 mm filament. If your printer runs 1.75 mm filament on an E3D V4/V5/V6 or Prusa-style hotend, choose the Micro Swiss A2 RepRap M6 1.75 mm nozzle instead — same A2 steel and TwinClad XT coating.
Why A2 steel over brass?
Brass is soft and wears open quickly with abrasive filaments. A2 tool steel, heat-treated to 57–62 RC and TwinClad XT coated, holds its orifice size far longer when printing carbon-fiber, glass-fiber, and metal-filled materials.
