TB6600 Stepper Driver for D600 Pro
The CreatBot TB6600 drive (part 115016) is an OEM stepper motor driver for the CreatBot D600 Pro, named for the TB6600 driver type. Like every stepper driver, it sits between the main control board and a motor: the board sends step and direction signals, and the driver supplies the current that turns the motor by the right amount. Signs the TB6600 driver may need replacing
The axis it drives loses steps, shifts layers or stops moving.
The motor on that axis hums or vibrates without turning smoothly.
The motor works normally when tested from a known good driver.
Visible damage on the driver, such as burn marks or a damaged terminal.
Check belts, couplers, lead screws and motor cables first. Mechanical binding is a common cause of skipped steps.
Compatible CreatBot 3D printer
The D600 Pro also uses other driver types, including the TB5128 (115015) and the TMC2209 (115014). Check the marking on the driver that failed before ordering.
Identify the driver before you order
Because the D600 Pro uses more than one driver type, the quickest check is to look at the fitted driver and match its marking. Replace a TB6600 with a TB6600: the printer's settings are made for the driver in each position. If the marking is hard to read, send Rev1 a photo of the electronics bay and we will identify it.
Installation tips
Power off and unplug the printer. Photograph the driver and its wiring, label each wire or plug, and transfer the connections one at a time to the new driver. Make sure every connection is tight, then home the printer and test the axis.
