The CreatBot sink fan (part 150041) is the OEM heat sink fan for the newer CreatBot HS and Ultra printers. A sink fan blows air over the extruder heat sink so the cold side of the hotend stays cold. That sharp break between the hot melt zone and the cool feed zone is what stops filament from softening too early. Signs the sink fan needs replacing
The fan does not spin once the hotend heats up.
Clogs or jams that keep returning, often several hours into a print.

Older models use their own sink fans: the D600 Pro2 HS (150001), D1000 HS (150004), F430 NX (150007), F430 (150014), D600 Pro (150024), D600 Pro2 (150028) and D1000 (150032).
Keep a spare on hand
A sink fan runs whenever the hotend is hot, including during heat up, idle time and cool down. That makes it one of the most heavily used fans on the printer. Many shops keep a spare sink fan for each printer so a failed fan does not stop production.
Installation tips
Let the hotend cool fully and turn the printer off. Photograph the fan orientation and cable route, then swap the fan, keeping the airflow pointed at the heat sink fins. Secure the cable so it cannot touch the heater block or catch on moving parts, then heat the hotend and confirm the fan starts.

No. The D600 Pro2 HS uses its own sink fan, part 150001.
Is the sink fan the same as the cooling fan?
No. The sink fan cools the extruder heat sink. The cooling fan directs air at the print.
