When to replace the shutter baffle
The baffle is bent, cracked, warped or broken.
It no longer moves or sits the way it did when the printer was new.
It was damaged in a nozzle crash or while clearing a jam.
Built-up plastic or debris cannot be cleaned off without damaging it.
Parts close to hot nozzles see heat, plastic ooze and the occasional collision. Replacing a damaged baffle with the genuine part restores the original fit and movement.
Compatible CreatBot 3D printers
These three printers share the same toolhead parts. Other parts from the same area include the Pro-HS nozzle brush (124006) and the nozzle-switching oscillating wheel (124013).
Installation tips
Power the printer off and let both hotends cool completely before working near the nozzles. Photograph the baffle in place from more than one angle so you can match its position and orientation. Fit the new baffle, check that it moves freely and does not touch the nozzles where it should not, then run a nozzle switch and a short test print.
