The CreatBot Pro HS heating sensor (part 106015) is the OEM temperature sensor used on the current generation of CreatBot HS and Ultra printers: the D400 HS, D600 Pro3 HS, D1000 Pro HS, D800 Ultra and D1200 Ultra. The sensor reports the temperature of the heated component it monitors back to the control board, and the board uses that reading to switch the heater on and off. If the reading is wrong or missing, the printer cannot hold a stable temperature and will usually stop with an error to protect itself. Full specifications →

Signs your heating sensor needs replacing
The touchscreen shows a temperature error or a reading that is clearly wrong, such as room temperature while heating.
The displayed temperature jumps or drops suddenly during a print.
Heating stops partway through a job with a thermal or sensor fault.
The sensor lead is pinched, cut or has a damaged connector.
A loose connector or damaged cable can cause the same symptoms. Check the wiring first, and contact Rev1 support if you want help confirming the sensor is the cause.
Compatible CreatBot 3D printers
The earlier HS machines use different sensors. The D600 Pro2 HS and D1000 HS take part 106001 or 106002, not this part.
Installation tips
Power the printer off, unplug it and let all heated parts cool completely before you touch the sensor. Photograph the cable routing and the connector position before removal, and route the new lead the same way so it is not pinched or stretched by moving parts. Seat the sensor fully so it reads the true temperature. After installation, heat the printer while watching the displayed temperature, and run a PID tune or a short test print to confirm stable control. If you are not comfortable working inside the printer, Rev1 service can do the replacement.

No. Those printers use part 106001 or 106002. This sensor fits the D400 HS, D600 Pro3 HS, D1000 Pro HS, D800 Ultra and D1200 Ultra.

If your printer runs production jobs, yes. A failed sensor stops the printer, and having a spare lets you swap it and get back to printing quickly.
