The CreatBot PEEK-300 water cooling fan (part 150036) is the OEM fan for the water cooling system on the CreatBot PEEK-300. A water cooling loop moves coolant past components that must stay cool and then through a radiator, where this fan pushes air across the fins to carry the heat away. On a printer designed for PEEK and other high temperature polymers, a working cooling loop helps keep the filament path cool where it should be and protects the hardware around the extruder. Signs the water cooling fan needs replacing
The radiator fan does not spin while the printer is on.
Noise from the fan, such as grinding, clicking or a high pitched whine.
Cooling or temperature warnings, or clogs and under extrusion that build up during long prints.
A damaged impeller, frame or lead.
The same symptoms can come from low coolant, a pump fault or a dusty radiator. Check those before you replace the fan, or ask Rev1 support to help diagnose it.
Compatible CreatBot 3D printer
The PEEK-250 uses its own water cooling system fan, part 150010. The other PEEK-300 fans are the cooling fan (150037), power supply cooling fan (150038) and cross flow fan (150039).
Installation tips
Power down and unplug the printer, and let the hotend and chamber cool. Before removing the old fan, note its airflow direction relative to the radiator: the replacement must blow the same way. Avoid stressing the coolant hoses while you work, wipe dust from the radiator fins, and confirm the fan runs before the next print.
