Signs the hotend needs replacing
The hotend heats slowly, will not hold its set temperature, or shows a heating or temperature sensor error.
Repeated clogs or under extrusion that cleaning and a new nozzle do not fix.
Filament leaking around the nozzle or heat block.
Damaged heater or sensor wiring, or a stripped thread in the assembly.
Some of these faults can also come from a cable, the extruder or the control board. If you are not sure, contact Rev1 support and we will help you narrow it down before you order.
Choose LT or HT
The low temperature version, for standard and lower temperature filaments.
The high temperature version, for high performance materials such as PEEK.
Replace like for like: if the failed hotend is the LT unit, order this part. If you want to change how your PEEK-300 is configured, talk to Rev1 first.
Compatible CreatBot 3D printer
The PEEK-250 does not use this hotend. It uses the F430 NX/PEEK-250 hotend, part 104005.
Installation tips
Unload the filament, then power the printer off, unplug it and let the hotend cool completely before you remove it. Photograph the heater and sensor connections and the cable routing so the new hotend goes back the same way. After installation, check that the hotend reads and holds temperature, recalibrate nozzle height and bed leveling, and run a short test print. Rev1 service can do the swap if you prefer.

Will it fit my PEEK-250?
No. The PEEK-250 uses part 104005. This LT hotend fits the PEEK-300 only.
Can I print PEEK with the LT hotend?
The LT version is meant for lower temperature materials. For PEEK and similar high temperature filaments, use the PEEK-300 HT hotend, part 104017.
