The CreatBot PEEK-300 heating block (part 102006) is the OEM hotend block for the CreatBot PEEK-300 high temperature 3D printer. The heating block sits at the bottom of the hotend: the nozzle threads into it, and it carries the heater and the temperature sensor. Signs the heating block needs replacing
The nozzle will not tighten properly, or filament leaks around it.
That cannot be cleaned off without damaging the block.
After you have ruled out the heater and sensor, often caused by a loose fit or damaged bore.
From a crash or from a blob of plastic that encased the hotend.
Compatible CreatBot 3D printer
CreatBot also lists the DAS heating block (part 102007) for the PEEK-300. Check which block is fitted to your machine before ordering, or send Rev1 your serial number and a photo of the hotend and we will confirm the correct part. The PEEK-250 uses a different block, the HS Heating Block V2 (part 102005).
Installation tips
Power the printer off, unplug it and let the hotend cool completely before you remove the heater and temperature sensor from the old block. Photograph the wiring routing first so it goes back the same way, and handle the sensor wires gently. Fit the new block, reinstall the heater and sensor securely, then reheat the hotend and tighten the nozzle hot so it seals against the block. Afterwards, recalibrate nozzle height and run a short test print. If you would rather not work on the hotend yourself, Rev1 can do the job as your certified CreatBot service provider.
