Signs the heating tube needs replacing
The hotend heats slowly or never reaches its set temperature.
The printer reports a heating error or a heating timeout.
The temperature swings during a print, causing under-extrusion or weak layer bonding.
Damaged, pinched or burnt wiring at the cartridge.

Compatible CreatBot 3D printer
The PEEK-300 has more than one heating tube listed. The standard PEEK300 heating tube is part 105008, and part 105006 is also listed for the PEEK-300. If you run a PEEK-250, it uses part 105005.
Choosing the right PEEK-300 heating tube
Order the DAS heating tube only if your PEEK-300 is the DAS version. The easiest check is to compare the cartridge and its connector with the one installed in your printer, or send Rev1 your serial number and we will confirm the correct part before it ships.
Installation tips
Power the printer off, unplug it and let the hotend cool completely. Photograph the wiring route and connector before you disconnect the old cartridge. Loosen the retaining screw, slide the old heating tube out of the block and seat the new one fully, then route the wires the same way so they cannot rub on moving parts. After installation, heat the hotend and watch that it reaches and holds temperature, then run a short test print. If your printer is under warranty, contact Rev1 first.
