Signs the cooling fan needs replacing
The fan does not start when the slicer or printer calls for cooling.
Overhangs and bridges droop or curl on prints that used to come out clean.
The fan runs slowly, stops at low speed settings or makes grinding noises.
Cracked blades, a damaged frame or a frayed lead.
Before you order, check the connector and the fan speed settings in your slicer profile. Some engineering materials are printed with little or no cooling on purpose, so a fan that is idle is not always a fan that has failed.
Compatible CreatBot 3D printer
The PEEK-300 uses four different fans: this cooling fan, the water cooling fan (150036), the power supply cooling fan (150038) and the cross flow fan (150039). The PEEK-250 uses its own cooling fan, part 150009.
Installation tips
Power the printer off and allow the extruder and chamber to cool before you reach in. Take a photo of the fan, its duct and the cable path, then remove it and fit the replacement in the same orientation. Route the cable away from hot parts and moving belts, and run a short test print with cooling enabled to confirm airflow.
