Installation tips
Let the printer cool completely, then power it off and unplug it. Photograph the wiring and mark the pulley position on the old motor shaft. Release belt tension, swap the motor and refit the pulley so the belt runs straight. Re-tension the belt, move the axis by hand to check for smooth travel, then home the printer and run a calibration print once it is back at operating temperature.
