The CreatBot PEEK-250 water pump (part 180004) is the pump for the water-cooling system on the CreatBot PEEK-250. A printer built for high temperature materials runs a very hot nozzle inside a hot chamber. In those conditions, a fan alone struggles to keep the cold side of the extruder cool, and if heat creeps up the filament path the filament softens too early and jams. Signs the water pump needs replacing
No coolant movement in the lines or reservoir while the printer is running.
The printer reports a cooling or water flow fault.
The pump is noisy, buzzes without pumping, or runs intermittently.
Repeated heat creep jams that clear and then return, with the rest of the cooling loop in good order.
A kinked line, air lock, low coolant level or a faulty flow sensor can cause similar symptoms. Check those first, and contact Rev1 support if the problem remains.
Compatible CreatBot 3D printer
If you also need the reservoir, CreatBot offers the PEEK-250 water pump with water bottle as part 180005. The water flow sensor for the PEEK-250 and PEEK-300 is part 180006. The PEEK-300 uses its own pumps (180001, 180002 and 180003).
Installation tips
Turn the printer off and unplug it. Have a tray and towels ready, since some coolant will escape when you disconnect the lines. Note which line is the inlet and which is the outlet before removal, fit the new pump the same way round, and make sure every fitting is secure. Refill the reservoir, run the pump to purge air from the loop, and check every joint for leaks before you heat the printer.
