The CreatBot PEEK-250 water cooling system fan (part 150010) is the OEM fan for the water cooling system on the CreatBot PEEK-250. In a liquid cooling loop, coolant carries heat away from components that need to stay cool, and the fan pulls air through the radiator so that heat leaves the coolant. Signs the water cooling fan needs replacing
The fan does not turn while the printer is running.
Noise from the fan: grinding, clicking or a whine that changes with speed.
The printer reports a cooling or overheating fault, or extrusion problems appear that look like heat creep, such as clogs partway through a print.
Broken blades or a damaged cable.
Cooling faults can also come from low coolant, a stopped pump or a blocked radiator. Rev1 support can help you work out which part is at fault before you order.

Other PEEK-250 fans are separate parts: the cooling fan (150009), the top chamber cooling fan (150011) and the air filter fan (150043). The PEEK-300 has its own water cooling fan, part 150036.
Installation tips
Turn the printer off and unplug it before you work near the cooling system. Note which way the fan blows before you remove it, since a radiator fan mounted the wrong way round will not cool properly. Keep the radiator fins clear of dust when the fan is off, check the hoses for leaks while you are there, and confirm the fan runs once the printer is powered back up.

No. The PEEK-300 uses part 150036. The PEEK-250 needs part 150010.
Do I need to drain the coolant to change the fan?
Usually not. The fan mounts to the radiator and can normally be changed without opening the coolant loop. Contact Rev1 support if your unit looks different.
