The CreatBot PEEK-250 cooling fan (part 150009) is the OEM print cooling fan for the CreatBot PEEK-250 high temperature 3D printer. It directs air at freshly extruded material so features set in shape. High performance polymers are sensitive to how fast they cool, so on the PEEK-250 the cooling fan is a tool your slicer profile uses with care, often at low speed or only for certain features. Compatible CreatBot 3D printer
The PEEK-250 uses several fans with separate part numbers: this cooling fan, the water cooling system fan (150010), the top chamber cooling fan (150011) and the air filter fan (150043). The PEEK-300 uses its own cooling fan, part 150037.
Which PEEK-250 fan do I need?
Because the PEEK-250 has four different fans, identify the failed one before you order. This cooling fan acts on the printed part at the print head. The water cooling system fan serves the printer's water cooling circuit, the top chamber cooling fan is listed for the top of the chamber, and the air filter fan drives filtration. If you are not sure which one has stopped, send Rev1 support a photo or a short video and we will match it to the right part number.
Installation tips
Power the printer off and let the hotend and chamber cool completely before you reach inside; a high temperature machine stays hot for some time after a print. Note the fan orientation and cable route, fit the new fan the same way round, and keep the cable away from heated parts. Test with a short print using part cooling.
