What the nozzle and heat break do
The nozzle sets the width of every line the printer lays down. The heat break sits between the heated zone and the cooled zone of the hotend and keeps the melt zone short and controlled. If heat travels too far up the filament path, the filament softens early and jams, which is known as heat creep.
Signs it needs replacing
Repeated clogs or partial jams that return after cleaning.
Under-extrusion, clicking from the extruder or filament grinding.
A worn, scratched or out-of-round nozzle tip, or stringing that slicer changes do not fix.
Damaged threads after a jam was forced out.

Compatible CreatBot 3D printers
Both sizes fit both printers. Other CreatBot models use separate nozzles, such as the brass nozzles (101007 to 101013) and hardened steel nozzles (101001 to 101006).
0.4 mm or 0.6 mm?
0.4 mm is the general purpose size. It gives finer surface detail and thinner walls, and suits most engineering parts. 0.6 mm lays down wider lines, prints faster and is more forgiving with filled materials and high-viscosity engineering filaments. Many F430 NX and PEEK-250 owners keep one of each so they can switch between detail work and faster structural parts. Set the matching nozzle diameter in your slicer after each change.
Installation tips
Follow the CreatBot hotend service procedure for your printer. Let the hotend reach a safe handling temperature, power the printer down before disconnecting anything, and note how the heater and sensor wires are routed. Seat the new part fully, reassemble, then heat up and check for leaks before running a first layer test.
