Signs your hotend cover needs replacing
The cover is torn, cracked or no longer sits snugly on the heating block.
Filament has baked onto the cover or the block underneath and will not clean off.

Compatible CreatBot 3D printers
This cover matches the HS Heating Block V1 (part 102004) used in these two printers. Newer Pro HS machines such as the D600 Pro3 HS, D1000 Pro HS and D400 HS use a different heating block (part 102011), so this cover is not listed for them.
Installation tips
Power the printer off, unplug it and let the hotend cool completely before you handle the cover. Remove the old cover and clean any filament residue from the heating block. Fit the new cover so it sits evenly around the block without covering the nozzle tip or pinching the heater and sensor wires. Reheat the hotend and watch the temperature reading settle, then run a short test print and check that the cover stays seated.
