Signs the heating block needs replacing
Stripped or damaged nozzle threads, often after a nozzle was changed cold or over-tightened.
Filament leaking around the nozzle or heat break that returns after re-tightening.
The heating tube or temperature sensor no longer sits firmly in its bore.
Heavy carbonized buildup or a block deformed by a past blob of melted filament.

Compatible CreatBot 3D printers
Fit differs by version: V1 is for the D600 Pro2 HS and D1000 HS, and V2 is for the F430 NX and PEEK-250.
Which version fits my printer
Choose by printer model, not by appearance. The D600 Pro2 HS and D1000 HS take V1. The F430 NX and PEEK-250 take V2. Newer HS printers use a different block: the D400 HS, D600 Pro3 HS, D1000 Pro HS, D800 Ultra and D1200 Ultra take the Pro HS heating block (part 102011). Non-HS models have their own blocks, for example the D600 Pro2 and D1000 heating block V1 (102003) and the PEEK-300 heating block (102006). If you are unsure, send Rev1 your printer model and serial number and we will confirm the part.
Installation tips
Power the printer off and let the hotend cool before you start. Remove the hotend cover (the D600 Pro2 HS and D1000 HS use part 102010), then the nozzle, heating tube and temperature sensor, noting how the wires are routed. Fit the new block, reinstall the parts, and tighten the nozzle against the heat break once the hotend is back at printing temperature. Run a heat-up check and a test print before production work.

No. The D600 Pro3 HS uses the Pro HS heating block, part 102011.
