Signs the heating tube needs replacing
The hotend heats slowly, or the printer stops with a heating error.
The temperature drops or swings during a print and extrusion becomes weak.
Damaged insulation, a burnt lead or a loose connection at the heater wires.

Compatible CreatBot 3D printers
Fit is the same for every option. Other CreatBot printers use different heating tubes: the D600 and D600 Pro use 105007, the D600 Pro2 HS and D1000 HS use 105001 or 105002, and the Pro HS and Ultra models use the Pro-HS heating tube (105014).
Which part number should I choose?
Choose the number that names your printer so it matches your parts list. The part is the same either way. If you run a D600 Pro2, D1000 and F1000 side by side, one spare covers all three. Dual extruder printers have one heating tube per hotend, so if you keep spares on hand, plan for both sides.
Installation tips
Power the printer off and let the hotend cool completely. Note how the heater wires are routed, loosen the screw that clamps the heating tube in the heating block and slide the old tube out. Insert the new tube fully, tighten the clamp, route the wires clear of moving parts and reconnect. Heat the hotend and check that it reaches and holds the set temperature before you run a test print.
