CreatBotHardened Steel NozzleGenuine CreatBot Replacement Part
Hardened Steel Nozzle for D Series, D Series HS, Ultra, F Series and PEEK-300 3D Printers

The CreatBot hardened steel nozzle is the wear resistant replacement nozzle for CreatBot printers that run abrasive engineering filaments. Carbon fiber and glass fiber filled materials grind away a brass bore: the opening widens, extrusion becomes inconsistent and part dimensions drift. Hardened steel keeps its bore size far longer. The nozzle comes in six sizes from 0.2 mm to 1.0 mm (parts 101001 to 101006). Full specifications →

When you print filled materials regularly.
A bore that holds its size gives consistent line width and dimensional accuracy over many prints.
The same thread and geometry as the nozzle your printer shipped with.

Picking a size for filled filaments

Fiber filled filaments flow best through a wider bore, so 0.6 mm and 0.8 mm are popular choices for carbon fiber nylon and glass fiber PC. They also reduce the chance of fibers bridging and clogging the tip. 0.4 mm is the all-round size when you need more detail. Keep 0.2 and 0.3 mm for unfilled materials or very fine features, since small bores clog more easily with fibers. 1.0 mm suits large structural parts where print speed comes first.
Installation tips
Change nozzles with the hotend at printing temperature so the threads release cleanly, and support the heating block with a wrench while you turn the nozzle. Tighten the new nozzle hot, update the nozzle size in your slicer, then run a short test print. Hardened steel conducts heat a little less readily than brass, so a small increase in print temperature can help on fast prints.
