The CreatBot F430 Z axis belt (part 141006) is the OEM belt for the Z drive of the CreatBot F430 3D printer. The Z axis moves between layers in small, precise steps, and this belt is part of the drive that makes those moves. On a Z drive where one belt links more than one lead screw, the belt also keeps the screws in step with each other, which is what keeps the bed parallel to the nozzle as the print grows. Signs the Z belt needs replacing
Visible wear: cracks, frayed edges or worn teeth.
Layer lines that are uneven or banded at regular intervals up the part.
A first layer that is fine on one side of the bed and too thick or thin on the other.
Clicking from the Z drive, or the bed dropping slightly when the motors are disabled.
Z artifacts can also come from the lead screws, couplers or bearings. Check the whole Z drive while it is open, or contact Rev1 support for help with the diagnosis.
Compatible CreatBot 3D printer
The F430 NX uses its own Z axis belt, part 141010. The F430 X and Y axes use belts 141002 and 141001, and the Y drive also has a reduction belt, part 141005.
Installation tips
Turn the printer off and unplug it. Support the bed so it cannot move, then photograph the belt path around each pulley and the tensioner. Do not turn the lead screws by hand while the belt is off, or the bed will no longer be level when you put it back together. Fit the new belt along the same path with firm tension, then level the bed and run a first layer test and a short calibration print.
