The CreatBot F430 X motor cable (part 160017) is the OEM cable that connects the X axis stepper motor on the CreatBot F430 to the printer's controller. A stepper motor needs all of its coil connections intact to move in precise steps. Signs the X motor cable needs replacing
Layer shifts along the X axis that are not caused by a loose belt or pulley.
The X motor hums or vibrates but does not move, or moves in only one direction.
X axis homing fails or stops partway.
Damaged insulation, a pinched section or a loose plug at the motor.
Check the belt tension and pulley grub screws first, since they cause many X axis shifts. If the mechanics are sound and the motor still misbehaves, the cable is a likely cause.

The D600 Pro has its own X motor cable, part 160018. The F430 extruder cable (160005) and FFC cable (160003) are separate parts.
Installation tips
Always power the printer off before you unplug or plug in a motor cable. Disconnecting a stepper motor while the driver is powered can damage the driver. Note the cable's route and the clips that hold it, swap the cable, and make sure both connectors are fully seated. Home the printer and jog the X axis in both directions to confirm smooth movement.
