F430 X Motor (X-Axis Motor)
The CreatBot F430 X motor (part 131018) is the OEM X-axis motor for the CreatBot F430. It drives motion along the X axis, placing each extrusion line where the slicer intended. Engineering parts printed on the F430 are often functional parts with tight fits, so an X motor that skips even occasionally can turn a good part into scrap through a single layer shift. Signs the X motor needs replacing
Layers shift along the X axis, especially during fast moves.
The X axis does not home, or homes with a grinding sound.
The motor buzzes or vibrates but the axis barely moves.
Dimensions along X drift from print to print.
Loose belts, a slipping pulley, a snagged cable or a driver fault can cause the same layer shifts. Check the mechanics first, or contact Rev1 support for help.
Compatible CreatBot 3D printer
The other F430 motors are the Y motor 131019, the Z motor 131020 and the extruder motors 131016 (E1) and 131017 (E2). The F430 NX uses a different X arrangement with left and right X motors, parts 131007 and 131008.
Installation tips
Turn the printer off and unplug it. Photograph the wiring and mark the pulley position on the old motor shaft. Release belt tension, remove the old motor and fit the new one in the same orientation. Set the pulley at the same height so the belt runs straight and does not rub, then re-tension the belt. Move the print head by hand to confirm smooth travel, home the printer and print a calibration part to check X accuracy.
