F430 NX Y Drive V2 (Y-Axis Stepper Driver)
The CreatBot F430 NX Y drive V2 (part 115009) is the OEM stepper motor driver for the Y axis of the CreatBot F430 NX 3D printer. CreatBot names it V2, the current version of this Y-axis driver. The driver receives step and direction commands from the main control board and supplies the current that turns the Y motor, moving the print front to back. Signs the Y drive may need replacing
Layers shift front to back partway through a print.
The Y axis will not home, or crashes at the end of travel.
The Y motor hums, vibrates or stutters instead of moving smoothly.
The Y motor works correctly when tested from a known good driver channel.
Check belt tension, pulley set screws and the Y motor cable before replacing the driver. Many Y axis shifts are mechanical.

About the V2 designation
CreatBot supplies this Y drive as V2. If your F430 NX has an earlier Y driver fitted, contact Rev1 with a photo of the existing module and we will confirm the replacement before it ships.
Installation tips
Power the printer off and unplug it before you open the electronics enclosure. Photograph the old driver to record its orientation, fit the new one the same way round and reconnect the Y motor cable. Home the printer and run a test print that uses the full depth of the bed.
