Signs the X-axis belt needs replacing
Layer shifts along the X axis, or parts that measure short or long in X.
Ringing, ghosting or wavy walls that were not there before.
Visible wear: frayed edges, cracks, rounded or missing teeth, or a glazed surface.
The belt will not hold tension, or it skips on the pulley during fast moves.
Compatible CreatBot 3D printer
This belt is specific to the F430 NX. The F430 NX uses separate belts on its other axes: the Y axis belt (141004) and the Z axis belt (141010). The original F430 has its own X axis belt, part 141002, so confirm your model before ordering.
Belt tension and care
A loose belt lets the carriage lag behind the motor, while an over-tight belt loads the motor and pulley bearings. Set the tension so the belt is firm with no slack, then check it again after the first few hours of printing, because a new belt settles in. Keep the belt teeth and pulley clear of filament debris.
Installation tips
Power the printer off before you start. Photograph how the belt is routed and how its ends are secured, then fit the new belt along the same path with the teeth fully seated in the pulley. Tension it, move the axis by hand through its full travel to check it runs freely, and finish with a test print of known dimensions to confirm X accuracy.

No. The F430 uses X axis belt part 141002. Part 141003 is for the F430 NX.
Should I replace the Y axis belt at the same time?
If both belts are the same age and the Y belt shows similar wear, doing both in one session saves a second teardown. The F430 NX Y axis belt is part 141004.
