Signs you need a new sheet
Replace the sheet if it has a bend or kink that stops it lying flat, if the print surface is scored or worn through, or if parts no longer hold even after a thorough clean. A sheet that has been folded while removing a part often shows a ridge you can feel by hand, and that ridge prints as a thin line in the first layer. Keeping a second sheet means a damaged one never holds up a job.
Installation tips
Let the bed cool before you touch the sheet. Lift the old sheet off and clean the bed so nothing is trapped beneath the new one. Place the new sheet aligned with the bed edges, press it flat, and run the leveling routine. Check the Z offset and print a first layer test before a production job.
