Signs your hotend needs replacing
Repeated jams or clogs that come back after cleaning the nozzle.
Under-extrusion, gaps in walls or a clicking extruder while the filament path is clear.
The hotend heats slowly, will not hold its set temperature or reports a temperature error.
Filament leaking around the nozzle or heating block.
Damaged wiring or a cracked or stripped component in the hotend assembly.

Compatible CreatBot 3D printers
The standard F430 uses a different hotend: part 104008 (LT Hotend V1 0.4 mm) or part 104009 (HT Hotend V1 0.4 mm). The PEEK-300 uses part 104016 (LT) or part 104017 (HT).
Installation tips
Power the printer off and unplug it, then let the hotend cool fully before you remove the assembly. Photograph the wiring and connector positions before you disconnect anything so the new hotend goes back exactly the same way. Route the cables clear of moving parts and secure them as they were. After installation, heat the hotend, check for leaks, recalibrate nozzle height and bed leveling, and run a short test print. If you would rather not do the work yourself, Rev1 can install it as your certified CreatBot service provider.
