Signs your motherboard may need replacing
The F430 NX does not start, restarts on its own, or the screen cannot talk to the printer.
Axes, heaters or fans do not respond, although the parts themselves test good.
Visible damage on the board, such as burnt components or a damaged connector.

The original F430 uses different boards: the 8-bit V9.6 board (part 111005) or the 32-bit V1.3 board (part 111006). Order by the exact model on your printer's label.
Before you replace the board
Write down what the printer does and when it started. Check the power supply output, reseat the main cables and look for damaged wiring in the printhead harness. Installation
Power the printer off and unplug it before opening the electronics bay. Photograph every connector before you disconnect anything, use anti-static precautions, and transfer the cables one at a time.
