The CreatBot F430 NX FFC cable (part 160004) is the OEM flat flexible cable for the CreatBot F430 NX. An FFC packs many conductors side by side in a thin, flat ribbon, which lets it carry several signals through a tight space while bending repeatedly. Signs it needs replacing
Intermittent errors that follow the movement of the print head, a fold or crease across the ribbon, or contacts that look scratched, dull or burnt all point to a worn FFC. If reseating the cable fixes the fault only for a short time, replace it.
Compatible CreatBot 3D printer
The original F430 uses a different FFC cable, part 160003. The two are not interchangeable.
Installation tips
Power the printer off and unplug it. Photograph which side of the ribbon faces up at each connector. Open the connector latch before you remove the old cable, slide the new one in straight until it seats, and close the latch. Never crease the ribbon; let it follow the same gentle bend as the original. Power up and move the head through its range to confirm the fault has cleared.
