Signs the heating tube needs replacing
The hotend heats very slowly or never reaches the target temperature.
The printer reports a heating failure or thermal runaway error.
The temperature reading drops during a print while the sensor tests good.
Damaged, pinched or burnt wires where the cartridge leaves the heating block.

Compatible CreatBot 3D printers
CreatBot also lists the PEEK300 Heating tube (105008) for the F430 and PEEK-300, and the PEEK300 DAS Heating tube (105012) for the PEEK-300. If you are not sure which tube your printer uses, match the part number on your existing part or ask Rev1. The F430 NX uses 105003 or 105004, and the F1000 uses 105009.
Installation tips
Power the printer off, unplug it and let the hotend cool fully before you start. Note how the heater wires are routed, loosen the clamp screw on the heating block and slide the old cartridge out. Fit the new heating tube fully into the block, tighten the clamp without crushing the cartridge, and route the wires away from moving parts. Reconnect it, heat the hotend while you watch the temperature reading, and run a short test print.
