F430 Extruder Unit (Complete Extruder Assembly)
The CreatBot F430 extruder unit (part 183002) is the complete OEM extruder assembly for the CreatBot F430. The F430 is often used with demanding engineering materials, including stiff, filled and high temperature filaments, which put more load on the extruder than PLA ever does. The extruder has to grip the filament firmly and feed it at a steady rate. When it wears or is damaged, extrusion becomes inconsistent and the strength of the finished part suffers. Signs the extruder unit needs replacing
Clicking or skipping as the extruder loses grip on the filament.
Under extrusion, gaps or weak layers that continue after the nozzle has been cleaned.
Filament with deep grooves or ground away where the drive gear meets it.
A damaged housing, bracket or mechanism after a jam or crash.

Other CreatBot printers use their own extruder units, including the PEEK-250 (183003), PEEK-300 (183004), D600 Pro2 (183006) and D1000 (183008).
Installation tips
Unload the filament at printing temperature. Switch the printer off, unplug it and give the head time to cool; on a printer used with high temperature materials this can take a while. Photograph the wiring and cable routing, replace the unit using the original hardware and reconnect everything exactly as it was. Load filament, run a manual extrusion to confirm smooth feeding, check the nozzle height and print a calibration part.
