F430 Extruder PCB for the F430 3D Printer

The CreatBot F430 extruder PCB is the OEM print head circuit board for the CreatBot F430. The F430 is often run with engineering materials, and its print head carries the hotends, temperature sensors, fans and extruder motors that make that possible. This board is where they all connect, and the printhead harness carries their signals and power to the main control board. CreatBot has built the F430 with two revisions of this board, so it is available in V1.1 and V2.8. Full specifications →

Signs the extruder PCB needs replacing
A hotend shows a temperature error or a reading that jumps as the head moves.
A heater, fan or extruder motor on the head stops working while the part itself tests good.
A connector on the board is scorched, cracked or no longer holds its plug.
A damaged printhead cable or a failed sensor can cause similar symptoms. Contact Rev1 support before you order and we will help you find the fault.

| V2.8 | 112019 | F430 |
Compatible CreatBot 3D printers
Both versions fit the F430. CreatBot also lists the PEEK-300 extruder PCB (part 112017) for the F430. The F430 NX is a different printer and uses parts 112003 to 112006.
Which version should I choose?

The F430 has been produced with more than one generation of electronics, and the extruder board changed along the way. Order the version that matches the board in your print head. The version is marked on the board. With the printer cool and unplugged, open the head and read the marking, or send Rev1 a photo and your printer's serial number. It also helps to know whether your F430 has 8-bit or 32-bit main electronics, since the extruder board has to work with the motherboard it connects to.
Installation tips
Let the hotends cool, then power the printer off and unplug it. Photograph the board with every lead connected, then transfer the connectors one at a time to the same positions. Check that each plug is fully seated and that the harness moves freely, refit the cover, heat each hotend and run a short test print.
