Signs your motherboard may need replacing
The F430 will not boot, or the touchscreen stays blank or frozen.
Motors, heaters or fans stop responding while the parts themselves test good.
Visible damage such as a burnt component, a melted connector or corrosion on the board.

Compatible CreatBot 3D printer
The F430 has also used an 8-bit board, the F430 8-bit motherboard V9.6 (part 111005). The F430 NX uses its own board, part 111003.
8-bit or 32-bit: which board is in my F430?
CreatBot has supplied the F430 with both an 8-bit and a 32-bit controller. The two are different generations of electronics, and they run different firmware, so replace like with like. Check the marking printed on your current board: if it reads 32Bit V1.3, this is the correct part. If it reads 8Bit V9.6, order part 111005 instead. If you are not sure, send Rev1 a photo of the board.
Installation
Power the printer off and unplug it before opening the electronics bay. Photograph every connector before you disconnect anything, use anti-static precautions, and reconnect the cables one at a time to their original positions. Check the firmware with Rev1 support after installation. If your printer is under warranty, contact us first: Rev1 can perform the replacement as your certified CreatBot service provider.
