The CreatBot F1000 Z-axis timing belt (part 143014) is the OEM synchronizing belt for the Z axis of the CreatBot F1000. On a large format machine the Z axis is driven at more than one point, and the timing belt is what keeps those points moving together. If the belt slips or skips a tooth, one side of the axis falls behind the other and the build plane is no longer level, which ruins first layers and throws off every layer above them. Compatible CreatBot 3D printer
The F1000 Z axis also uses a Z-axis motor belt, part 143013. The F1000 X-axis belt is 143010, the Y-axis belt is 143011 and the Y-axis closed loop belt is 143012. The D1000 and D1000 HS use their own Z-axis timing belts, parts 143019 and 143024.
Signs the timing belt needs attention
Check the belt if the bed is level after calibration but drifts out of level during or between prints, if one side of the Z axis sits higher than the other after homing, or if you can see cracked or missing teeth. Loose tension can cause the same symptoms, so check the tensioner first.
Installation tips
Power the printer off and lock or support the Z axis before you remove the old belt. Mark the position of each pulley so the axis stays in the same relationship when the new belt goes on; if the sides end up at different heights, the plane will be out of level. Seat the teeth fully, restore the original tension, move the axis through its full travel, then run the bed leveling routine and a first layer test.
