CreatBotF1000 Y-Axis Closed Loop BeltGenuine CreatBot Replacement Part
Y-axis closed loop (endless) timing belt for the CreatBot F1000

The CreatBot F1000 Y-axis closed loop belt (part 143012) is the OEM endless belt in the Y-axis drive of the CreatBot F1000. Unlike the Y-axis belt, which has two ends, this belt is one continuous loop. Belts of this kind typically carry drive between pulleys, for example from a motor to a shaft. If the loop slips or wears, the Y axis can lose position even when the main Y-axis belt is in good condition. Full specifications →

Signs the closed loop belt needs replacing
Front to back layer shifts that remain after the Y-axis belt has been serviced.
Ticking, chirping or grinding from the Y drive.
Cracks across the back of the loop, fraying or worn teeth.
No tension adjustment left on the motor mount or tensioner.
Compatible CreatBot 3D printer
The F1000 also uses an X-axis belt (143010), a Y-axis belt (143011), a Z-axis motor belt (143013) and a Z-axis timing belt (143014). The D1000 has its own closed loop belt, part 143017, which is a different part.
Before you start
Because the loop has no ends, it has to go on over the pulleys. Plan to slacken the motor mount or tensioner, and be ready to remove a guard or pulley if the layout needs it. While the Y drive is open, check the pulley teeth and set screws: a worn pulley or loose set screw shortens the life of a new belt.
Installation tips
Power off and unplug the printer. Mark the motor or tensioner position so you can return close to the original tension. Slip the old loop off, fit the new one with the teeth fully seated on both pulleys, re-tension it and turn the drive by hand to check that it runs centered and smoothly. Home the printer and run a test print with long Y moves.
