F1000 PEI Film Build Surface

Making a PEI surface last
Keep the film clean: wipe it with isopropyl alcohol before prints and do not touch the print area with bare hands. Let parts cool on the bed so they release naturally. When a part needs help, use a plastic scraper at a low angle. Spread prints around the plate rather than always printing in the center, so the film wears evenly. Some engineering materials bond very strongly to PEI, and a thin release layer protects the film when you print them. Installation tips
Let the bed cool completely. Peel the old film slowly, remove all adhesive residue and dry the plate. With a helper, align one edge of the new film, then lay it down progressively while pressing from the center outward with a squeegee to remove air. Re-level, set the Z offset and print a first layer test.
