The CreatBot F1000 E1 motor (part 131030) is the OEM extruder motor for the first extruder (E1) on the CreatBot F1000. The F1000 is built for large parts, and large parts mean long print times, often running for many hours or days. The E1 motor turns the drive gear that feeds filament to the hotend throughout that time, so a motor that has started to lose steps can ruin a job that is already most of the way done. Signs the E1 motor needs replacing
E1 does not turn when you load or extrude filament.
Clicking or grinding from the E1 extruder even with a clean nozzle and a free filament path.
Under-extrusion that starts partway through long prints and gets worse as the motor warms up.
Buzzing or vibration from E1 with little or no filament movement.
Clogs, a worn drive gear and spool tangles cause similar symptoms. Check those first, or contact Rev1 support and we will help you diagnose the extruder.
Compatible CreatBot 3D printer
The F1000 second extruder uses the E2 motor, part 131031, and the F1000 Z motor is part 131032. The F430 uses its own extruder motors, parts 131016 (E1) and 131017 (E2).
Installation tips
Unload filament from E1 and allow the hotend to cool. Power off and unplug the printer. Photograph the extruder assembly and the wiring so you can put everything back the same way. Fit the new motor in the original orientation, reinstall the drive gear in line with the filament path and set the idler tension. Extrude a test length, then run a short print before you commit to a long job.
