F1000 BuildTak Build Surface
The CreatBot F1000 BuildTak (part 107021) is the OEM BuildTak print surface sized for the build plate of the CreatBot F1000 large format 3D printer. Compatible CreatBot 3D printer
This sheet is sized for the F1000 only. The F430 uses BuildTak part 107008 and the D600 Pro uses part 107012.
BuildTak or PEI on the F1000
CreatBot offers two print surfaces for the F1000: this BuildTak sheet and the F1000 PEI film (107022). BuildTak gives a textured underside and strong grip without glue, which suits a wide range of filaments. PEI gives a smoother underside and releases parts as the bed cools. If you are happy with how your current surface prints, replace it with the same type so your slicer settings carry over.
Installation tips
A sheet this large is easier to fit with two people. Peel the old BuildTak slowly, clean off any adhesive and dry the plate. Peel back a short strip of liner along one edge, align it with the plate edge and press it down, then pull the liner away gradually while smoothing the sheet outward to keep bubbles out. Re-level the bed and set the Z offset so the nozzle does not dig into the texture on the first layer.
