The CreatBot external fan filter element (part 109014) is the OEM replacement filter element for the external fan on current CreatBot HS and Ultra Series printers. The element sits in the airflow of the external fan and filters the air passing through it. Like any filter, it collects material as it works, and once it is loaded the fan moves less air and the element filters less effectively. A fresh element restores normal airflow. Compatible CreatBot 3D printers
One element fits all five printers. The D400 HS, D600 Pro3 HS and D1000 Pro HS also use the separate HEPA and carbon air filter (109013), which is a different part.
External fan element or HEPA and carbon filter?
These are two different parts. This element (109014) is the filter for the external fan, and it is shared across the HS and Ultra models listed above. The HEPA and carbon air filter (109013) is a separate filter used on the D400 HS, D600 Pro3 HS and D1000 Pro HS. If your HS printer is due for filter maintenance, check both, and consider replacing them together so the whole filtration path is fresh. If you run several of these printers, one stock of this element covers all of them.
Installation tips
Turn the printer off so the fan is stopped before you touch the element. Remove the old element and note which way it was fitted. Install the new element in the same orientation, check that it sits evenly with no gaps around the edges, and refit any cover. Dispose of the used element; do not try to wash it.
