The CreatBot DA relay 40A (part 175002) is the higher rated of the two solid state relays used across CreatBot's HS and Ultra printers. Large format machines run large heaters, and those heaters are switched by relays rather than directly by the control board. In a DA type solid state relay, a small DC signal from the electronics switches an AC load on and off. Installation
The relay switches mains power. Turn the printer off and unplug it before opening the electrical compartment. Photograph the relay and its wiring, noting the control and load terminals, then fit the new relay in the same position with good contact to its mounting surface.
