The CreatBot D600 Z axis belt (part 141007) is the OEM belt for the Z drive of the CreatBot D600 3D printer. The Z axis sets the height of every layer, so it has to move in small, exact steps for the whole print. The Z belt carries that motion through the drive. Signs the Z belt needs replacing
Visible cracks, fraying, worn or missing teeth on the belt.
The belt has stretched and can no longer hold proper tension.
Uneven layer lines or banding that repeats up the height of the part.
The bed is no longer parallel to the gantry, so first layers are thick on one side and thin on the other.
Clicking or skipping from the Z drive when the axis moves.
Compatible CreatBot 3D printer
Later D600 models use their own Z belts: the D600 Pro2 uses part 141011 and the D600 Pro2 HS uses part 141012. Order the belt listed for your exact model, as belt length and routing can differ between machines.
Installation tips
Power the printer off and unplug it. Before removing the old belt, support the bed so it cannot drop, and photograph the belt path around every pulley. If the belt links several lead screws, do not turn any screw by hand while the belt is off, or the bed will be out of level when you reassemble. Fit the new belt along the same path, set the tension so the belt is firm without being over tight, then re-level the bed and run a test print.
